Vendor Services Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Vendor Onboarding and Retention Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process of new vendors to our vCard payment program and ensuring the retention of existing vendors by addressing any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
New Vendor vCard Onboarding:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors to our vCard payment system.
- Verify vendor compatibility for vCard payments by processing the first scheduled payment.
- Address any issues that may arise during onboarding, such as fees, vendor unreachability, or acceptance issues.
- Update and correct remit details as necessary, including phone numbers and email addresses.
- Investigate the possibility of migrating phone vendors to email or portal payments.
Automatic Email Failure Monitoring:
- Monitor failed email notifications for vendors set to receive email payments.
- Connect with vendors to update their email information on file.
Automatic vCard Follow-ups:
- Follow up with vendors through email and phone calls to confirm receipt of email payments.
- Use follow-ups as an opportunity to validate and update email information on file.
Vendor Retention:
- Contact vendors with churn action items to validate the churn reason and attempt to retain them.
- Address specific situations, such as vendors charging credit card fees or being unreachable by phone.
- Confirm vendors' acceptance of vCard payments and address any issues regarding acceptance.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in payment processing, vendor management, onboarding, or retention roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

This is an International Consultant position, if hired you'll be responsible for filing your own taxes
Candidates must live in Chihuahua City (strongly preferred)
